Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, as well as managing the care of patients and advocating for evidence-based practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through assessments and evaluations.
• Initiate assessment based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and health frameworks.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care documentation.
• Support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• BLS-AHA certification.
• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• NRP certification.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure

• ACLS certification.
• Advanced AWHONN or EFM certification.
