Day shift, 4 - 10 hour shifts from 07:30 to 18:00, with on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will perform duties with a focus on quality patient care, including circulating and documenting during procedures. The role involves participating in the after-hours call rotation, which includes being on call every other weekend and approximately two days a week. The Nurse Manager will clarify on-call rotation during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and administration of cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the patient care process.
• Participate in continuing education and training as required.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Cath Lab experience.
• Must have experience as a circulating nurse and in documenting patient care.
• Active, unrestricted Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Epic experience is a must.
• Completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is mandatory.
