Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the required skills and experience to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
Monitor and interpret patient telemetry readings.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Perform assessments and develop patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel.
MUST HAVE PERMANENT Ohio license or Compact State license in hand.
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.
