Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing medical and surgical conditions, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. This role requires a strong background in telemetry nursing and the ability to work night shifts. The nurse will be expected to recognize ECG rhythms and utilize safe medication practices throughout their duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop personalized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care processes.
• Participate in assessments and interventions to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• MUST HAVE PERM Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
• AHA BLS & ACLS certifications are required.
• NIH certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
