Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech - General to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing various ultrasound procedures in a community hospital setting and will be proficient in the Cerner charting system.

Responsibilities

Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Perform imaging procedures, including but not limited to OB/GYN, abdomen, vascular, small parts, and general ultrasound.
Maintain high standards of patient care and safety, adhering to isolation precautions.
Provide support in high-risk obstetrics and maternal-fetal medicine settings.
Assist with interventional procedures like amniocentesis, cyst aspirations, and thoracentesis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound technology.
Required: ARDMS certification; RDMS with OB/GYN preferred.
Current BLS certification required.
Community hospital experience is required.
Experience with specific ultrasound skills in OB/GYN, neonatal, and abdominal procedures is preferred.
