Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in NICU II to provide exceptional care to neonates. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing patients with various conditions, particularly those born between 29-34 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to neonates, with a patient ratio experience of 1:4.
• Administer and manage IV therapy, including care for central lines and umbilical catheters.
• Support breastfeeding and handle breast milk according to hospital protocol.
• Implement isolation precautions and manage infectious diseases.
• Provide respiratory care, utilizing equipment like Bubble CPAP and oxygen delivery systems.
• Administer emergency medications and observe for therapeutic effects.
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU setting is required.
• Certifications: BLS and NRP required.
• EPIC charting system experience is mandatory.

Float & Weekend Coverage

Floating to well baby unit may be required. Weekend coverage is every other weekend.
