Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The role includes planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs and ensuring proper management of care through assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment and planning.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centered care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit within a major acute care hospital setting.
• Strong MS/Tele background required.
• NIHSS, Telemetry, BLS-AHA certifications are required.
• CEU Contact Stroke: 4 Hours.
• Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.
