Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Location

Beachwood, OH

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Telemetry RN will be responsible for monitoring post-operative patients overnight, with a planned discharge from the facility the next morning. Candidates must possess a strong background in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Monitor vital signs and ECG rhythms of post-operative patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide patient education and support to families.
Document patient care and responses accurately in Epic.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
MUST HAVE PERMANENT OHIO LICENSE OR COMPACT STATE LICENSE IN HAND.
AHA BLS & ACLS certifications are required.
Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months) is REQUIRED.
One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is mandatory for submission.
