12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Progressive Care Nurse for a high-acuity unit with a focus on tele-surgical care. You will provide critical care to post-operative cardiac patients, requiring proficiency in managing complex conditions.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a progressive care unit with a surgical and cardiac focus.
Float to similar units as necessary.
Participate in holiday rotations, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

2 years of nursing experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a progressive care unit.
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start.
PCCN certification is preferred.
Recent experience (within the last year) in a large trauma level 1 facility is essential.
Epic EMR experience within the last 2 years is required.
Cardiothoracic and vascular experience is required.
Experience with post-operative care for both open and closed heart patients.
