Job Description

The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region. Our team manages cases involving respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex trauma, and surgical complications. Candidates must be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations, ACLS, and advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per our titration protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, and thrombo-embolytics.
• Manage a line, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
• Utilize HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent therapies effectively.
• Provide care for an average patient load of 3 high acuity patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Epic experience is required.
• Experience in large scale adult PCU and community hospital ICU preferred.
• Valid nursing license to practice in the state.
