Schedule

Rotating shifts including Days, Evenings, and Nights, with weekend and holiday requirements. On-Call and Callback duties may also be required.

Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This role offers a chance to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with complex conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Guillain Barre Syndrome. As a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitor Unit in the region, we handle many acute and complex cases using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Two (2) years of nursing experience required
Current RN License in New York State
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Telemetry experience required
NIHSS certification is highly preferred
