Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of current Emergency Department experience, possess essential certifications, and demonstrate proficiency in patient care, triage, and dysrhythmia management. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG as necessary.
• Provide care for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of current Emergency Department experience preferred.
• New York State Nursing License in hand.
• Current certifications in BLS, PALS, and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Must pass rhythm identification tests.
• Flu vaccine required by 11/1.
