Registered Nurse - ICU Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Must be able to work through the holidays, including 2 of the 3 major holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our ICU night shift. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adults and geriatric patients in an intensive care setting. This role requires expertise in cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting.
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms.
Manage dysrhythmias effectively.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must have 3 years of current ICU experience.
Nursing license in New York (must be in hand).
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (preferred).
Ability to read rhythms and pass a hospital-proctored test with >80% accuracy.
*Epic charting experience preferred.
Flu vaccine or exemption required.
