Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Unit. This role requires critical thinking and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and administer IV therapy, phlebotomy, and medications including Heparin and Insulin.
Provide care for patients requiring colostomy and feeding tube management.
Perform wound care and operate wound vac devices as needed.
Float to other units as needed based on skillset.
Adhere to isolation precautions and manage central line blood draws and PICC line management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

New York State RN License.
Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience.
BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
Prior travel experience is also required.
Must be willing to float to other units and cover weekends every other weekend.
