Night shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) will provide optimal care and education to medical patients, with a specific focus on cardiovascular disease. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality nursing care and advocate for patients. This position utilizes a team nursing approach, with each RN caring for 7-8 patients alongside 1 LPN and 1 Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and response to emergencies
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively
Collaborate with interdisciplinary support services
Participate in the unit's team nursing approach to patient care
Educate patients and families on health maintenance

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
Certifications: BLS and ACLS (preferred)
Experience in telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias essential
WV/Compact RN License required; applications with pending licenses accepted
