Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in high-risk pregnancy care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical assessments, documentation, professionalism, patient satisfaction, safety protocols, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and systematic assessments of patients across all growth stages, from pediatric to geriatric.
• Demonstrate competent clinical skills by providing direct patient care and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with guidelines, actively documenting nursing processes and patient progress.
• Exhibit professionalism by adhering to policies and procedures and identifying areas for growth.
• Ensure patient satisfaction by engaging positively with patients, families, and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, utilizing proper protocols and safe transfer techniques.
• Individualize patient care based on conditions, diagnoses, procedures, and equipment used in the surgical process.
• Contribute to the perioperative team by prioritizing care based on patient needs and changes in condition.
• Assess patient understanding and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative education.
• Support the completion of patient testing and evaluate PAT orders for appropriateness based on proposed surgery and patient health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of travel experience in large hospital settings with high-risk pregnancies.
• Current RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
