Job Description
Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, our ED RNs are equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations for patients of all ages. They are trained to deal with trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal candidates must quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions and prioritize their injuries and medical needs accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients of all ages.
- Quickly assess and prioritize patient injuries and medical needs.
- Handle a wide variety of emergency situations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an ED environment.
- ED experience within the past six months.
- New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS certifications.
- CEU Contact Stroke - 4 Hours.
