Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Telemetry unit. The nurse will focus primarily on patients with cardiac conditions, specifically Congestive Heart Failure, myocardial infarction, and acute coronary syndrome, while also managing secondary respiratory issues such as COPD and pneumonia. The role will require frequent patient monitoring and the ability to interpret telemetry readings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as required.
• Perform assessments and interpret telemetry data.
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patients experiencing cardiac and respiratory conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiac telemetry setting.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Charge nurse experience preferred.
