Schedule

Monday to Friday, 4-10s (7 AM - 5:30 PM) with call requirements of 1-2 shifts per week, plus every 3rd to 4th weekend.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will cover both vascular and neuro procedures, requiring a strong understanding of advanced neuro techniques. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic measurements.
• Observe sterile technique while prepping for procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Prepare entry sites using sterile techniques.
• Continuously monitor patients' ECG and blood pressure, documenting accurately.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergent situations.
• Assist in initiated resuscitative measures during emergencies.
• Document all procedures and manage inventory effectively.
• Engage in educational and in-service opportunities.
• Instruct radiography students on various techniques and equipment.
• Maintain specialization in Neuroradiology and Vascular IR procedures.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and inventory management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Neuro experience is essential.
• Previous travel experience in an interventional radiology setting preferred.
