D/E/N rotating shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit needs.

Job Description

Join a 30-bed unit specializing in the care of adult hematology-oncology patients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with patients throughout all phases of their care, including initial diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life care. You will have the chance to develop and enhance your knowledge and skills in general medical and surgical nursing, while becoming an expert in oncology care.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult hematology-oncology patients.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as required.
Deliver compassionate end-of-life care to patients and support to families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN License in New York.
Two (2) years of nursing experience.
Telemetry experience required.
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
ACLS Certification.
Chemotherapy Certification required.
