Schedule

12-hour shifts from 0700 to 1930 or 1900 to 0730, including weekends as scheduled. Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg/Infectious Disease unit. This unit features all private rooms to accommodate patients with infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients experiencing a range of infectious diseases and general medical-surgical needs.
Administer medications, including IV medications and antibiotics, as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patients and provide timely interventions when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current BLS certification is required.
Strong knowledge of MedSurg and Infectious Disease nursing practices, including isolation precautions.
Travel experience is required.
Must be able to manage and titrate heparin and other typical MedSurg IV medications.
