Schedule

12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, working three shifts per week, with every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. Nurses on this unit will encounter a wide variety of diagnoses and will be required to handle numerous clinical tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions.
Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.
Assist with wound care and other basic nursing procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
Active nursing license in the state of practice.
Basic arrhythmia knowledge; ability to recognize fatal rhythms.
