Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

36 hours per week, day/night/weekend shifts with holidays as per unit policy. Straight nights considered.

Job Description

Join our interdisciplinary team providing care to a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Trauma, Orthopedic conditions, Neuro disorders, Oncology, Pediatric cases, Solid Organ Transplant, and Heart Failure. This role will allow you to support both the clinical and emotional needs of patients and their families as they regain independence.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute rehabilitation.
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Offer clinical and emotional support to patients and their families.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

2 years of Med-Surg experience.
Valid New York State RN License.
American Heart Association BLS certification.
Telemetry experience is required.
Pediatric experience preferred.
