Maternity Services Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 1900-0730, rotating weekends, 60 min unpaid lunch.

Job Description

Our maternity unit provides comprehensive services for low-risk antepartum, postpartum, and well baby nursery. We practice couplet care, accommodating a standard nurse-to-couplet ratio of 1:3.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and their neonates.
Monitor patient status and facilitate smooth transitions during antepartum and postpartum periods.
Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required.
