Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic echocardiograms and assist in providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities may include operating echocardiography equipment, conducting various echocardiographic studies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals for accurate patient assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiograms.
• Conduct bubble studies and color Doppler imaging.
• Utilize contrast agents for imaging.
• Execute pharmacologic stress echocardiograms and treadmill stress tests.
• Administer transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
• Implement calculations including Simpson’s Rule, diastology, LV strain/LV volume, and proximal isovelocity surface area.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience required.
• ARDMS or CCI RCS certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings preferred.
