Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Must cover every other weekend and work 2 out of 4 holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry to deliver high-quality patient care. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care and assess medical conditions, primarily focusing on MS and telemetry patients.
• Perform charting and documentation via Epic.
• Administer blood products and manage IV therapy, including PICC lines.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies as required.
• Provide palliative care and support to end-of-life patients.
• Maintain infection control and isolation precautions.
• Assist with gastrointestinal care, including colostomy and feeding tube management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a similar specialty.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy is required.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• EKG competency is required for this position.
