Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, working 3 days per week, Friday through Sunday.
Job Description
The MRI Tech will perform high-quality MRI scans in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have experience working with various patient age groups, including infants through geriatrics, and demonstrate proficiency in performing examinations requiring conditional implants, pacemakers, and ICDs. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to manage complex clinical scenarios involving anesthesia and sedation for pediatric patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans using GE and Siemens MRI scanners.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as per departmental protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, particularly with conditional implants.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient scans using the Epic charting system.
- Work collaboratively with medical and clinical staff in a trauma environment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience; 3-5 years preferred.
- Must be registered in MRI with ARRT or ARMRIT.
- Experience with pediatric sedation and handling ventilator/ICU patients is required.
- Familiarity with conditional implants and adherence to scanning conditions.
- BLS certification is required; additional certifications in specific areas are preferred.
