Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery department. This position requires strong skills in both maternal and neonatal care as the unit operates at a low to moderate volume, with approximately 100 births annually. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and manage higher acuity and high-risk cases.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for mothers and newborns in the LDRP unit.
Ensure safety and quality of care through effective use of fetal heart monitoring and critical assessments.
Collaborate with healthcare team members and assist in various roles as needed, including floating to MedSurg or serving as a CNA or secretary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Required certifications: ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and BLS.
Preferred skill: Stable certification.
Experience in LDRP units and ability to work with higher acuity cases strongly preferred.
