Schedule or Shift

• Varied shifts including 9 AM to 5 PM, 11 AM to 7 PM, 1 PM to 9 PM, and 3 PM to 11 PM
• Weekend hours required every other week or as needed
• On-call duties required one to two times per week in 8-hour increments

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services, where you will provide high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment. This role requires a commitment to clinical excellence and the ability to work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients in the Surgical Services department
• Work with surgical teams to deliver safe and effective patient care
• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the surgical process
• Facilitate communication among patients, families, and the surgical team

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Pennsylvania RN Licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Experience in Surgical Services or a multidisciplinary acute care environment preferred
• Charge nurse experience and familiarity with robotics and trauma care are advantageous
