Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Schedule

12-hour day/night rotation, including weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in an acute care setting. The unit comprises 30 beds and operates with a nurse-patient ratio of 1:6/7. The RN will be expected to manage a variety of patient diagnoses including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, and more.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an acute care setting.
Collaborate with a charge nurse and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
Titrate heparin drips according to APTT results.
Assist in the care of patients requiring intermittent BIPAP.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current BLS certification (AHA).
NIHSS certification required.
No trauma level certification necessary.
Must disclose licensing hits at the time of submission.
