Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 4x10-Hour shifts from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with weekends and holidays as needed. Call is required on a minimal basis.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide expert care in a fast-paced environment, supporting complex cardiac procedures and interventions. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients pre and post-procedure, administering medications, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities

Circulate and scrub during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed.
Conduct pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care.
Assist with sheath removal and monitoring; utilize advanced vascular closure systems.
Document patient care using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.
