Schedule

Day shift - 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Weekends and holidays as needed; must be flexible to stay until the last patient is cared for. Call required (very minimal).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab, specializing in invasive cardiology. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment involving advanced cardiovascular treatments, including complex coronary procedures and various cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient care in the cardiac cath lab, including pre and post-procedural care.
• Participate in complex cardiac procedures and ensure patient safety throughout.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage their sedation as needed.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for documenting patient care and procedures.
• Assist with accountabilities such as the interpretation/management of dysrhythmias and IV therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Cath Lab or related specialty.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• Preferred skills in activated clotting time (ACT), cardioversion, and procedural sedation monitoring.
