Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Day Shift

Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:30); Weekends as needed; Call may be required.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for a variety of procedural tasks in an invasive cardiology unit, which features dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, Electrophysiology labs, and a high volume of advanced cardiovascular treatments.

Responsibilities

Accurate monitoring of patients
Equipment set up and maintenance
Perform EKG lead placement
Prep access sites
Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
Room circulator and maintaining a sterile field
Assisting in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, including but not limited to:

Cardiac Stent Placement
Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
Hemodynamic monitoring
Cardiac Implant Closure Devices
Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implementation/Replacement

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Experience with Epic charting system is required
