Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our busy general Radiology department. The ideal candidate will perform various radiographic procedures, providing high-quality imaging services for inpatient exams, emergency department cases, and outpatient scheduled/walk-in x-rays. The role requires working in different settings, including adult acute care, outpatient care, and various surgical environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct X-ray procedures, including fluoroscopy exams, using state-of-the-art equipment.
• Provide coverage for C-arm cases in the operating room.
• Ensure proper positioning and technique for all imaging studies.
• Administer and prepare contrast media as required for certain procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and infection prevention protocols.
• Respond effectively in trauma situations, adhering to all safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• ARRT (R) certification, BLS certification, and valid NYS license are required.
• Experience in adult acute care, emergency department, and outpatient settings is preferred.
• Strong skills in abdominal, chest, and fluoroscopy studies required.
