Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with block scheduling available. Every other weekend and holiday coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing a variety of medical conditions across all age groups, including pediatrics, as part of a comprehensive care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a General Emergency Department with a primary focus on acute conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of various age groups.
• Manage emergency situations, including triage and treatment of life-threatening conditions.
• Administer medications, therapies, and perform various procedures as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting; candidates with 1 year of strong skillset experience will be considered.
• Current nursing license (RN) required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI preferred.
• Community hospital experience is required.
