Full Time, 3x12 Night Shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM) + every other weekend, holiday as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in critical care to join our team. The RN will be required to float to multiple units, including Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Emergency Room (ER). This position demands excellent critical care experience, along with the ability to manage a diverse patient population across different units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple units.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain patient safety and initiate appropriate interventions in critical situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed by New York State (NYS) as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care Units.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required through AHA or the RQI system.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
