Job Description

The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in the region. Responsibilities include caring for patients experiencing respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications.

Responsibilities

Provide competent care to medical and surgical populations.
Utilize advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per titration protocols.
Administer antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, and IV lines.
Implement infection prevention protocols and manage a high level of patient acuity.
Utilize HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxy-dependent therapies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Epic experience required.
ACLS certification necessary.
Experience in a large-scale adult Progressive Care Unit and community hospital ICU preferred.
