Job Description

The RN provides age-specific, direct patient care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process and within the framework of the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care. In this role, the RN assumes leadership responsibilities, including the delegation of tasks to other levels of employees, while ensuring compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care
• Utilize the Nursing Process in providing care
• Assume leadership responsibilities and delegate tasks appropriately
• Ensure compliance with health care laws and regulations

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required prior to contract start date
• Course must be booked at the time of Clinical Orientation if certifications are not current

Schedule

This position is a days shift composed of five 8-hour shifts.
