Pediatric Infusion Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

AM Shift - 7.5 hours, with no weekends or federal holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Infusion Nurse to join our team. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on Hematology and Oncology cases, primarily handling pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in an infusion setting.
Float to Pediatric Infusion as needed, managing a patient ratio of 1:10.
Administer chemotherapy and other treatment protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment options and care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

2-3 years of Oncology/Infusion experience.
Must hold APHON Certification.
Experience in Pediatric Infusion/Oncology is essential.
