Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Medical Trauma Unit, providing care for patients in a medical surgical and telemetry setting. We are looking for compassionate and team-oriented Registered Nurses who excel in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood products.
Monitor patients using remote telemetry and perform health assessments.
Manage complex wounds and care for tubes and drains, including NG, PEG, and chest tubes.
Assist in pain management strategies and patient education.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
Experience in medical surgical nursing is essential.
Telemetry experience is preferred.
Experience managing trauma and complex wound care is a plus.
