Telemetry Nurse - Night Shift

Location

Saratoga, NY

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse to provide high-quality patient care during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and be able to read rhythms proficiently. This role involves floating within the hospital as needed, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Document patient care and maintain accurate records using the Epic charting system.
Participate in patient and family education regarding health conditions and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current NY State License in hand.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing.
Experience with critical drip and CVA patients is a plus.
Epic charting experience is required.
Must pass a hospital proctored EKG test with >80% accuracy.
Must have current experience with telemetry population.
