4x12-hour shifts, Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

Join a dynamic 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit, caring for a diverse patient population including those with cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal issues, general surgery, and orthopedics. The role requires efficiency in managing insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips. You will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/US, and unit secretaries.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a busy Med-Surg Telemetry unit.
Handle complex cases and manage medication drips.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain patient safety and comfort while ensuring quality care.
Document patient progress and communicate effectively within the team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Proficient with insulin, heparin, and Lasik drips.
CPI, ACLS, and BLS certifications are required.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Must float to like acuities or less as needed.
Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
