Schedule

Day shifts, 4x10 hours from 06:00 to 16:30, with alternating days off. On-call requirements with a 30-minute response time, 1-2 call days per week, and coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend.

Job Description

Looking for a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician with open heart experience to join our team. Responsibilities include scrubbing for surgical procedures and providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Epic charting and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the cardiovascular operating room by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Scrub for surgical procedures and ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Maintain communication with the surgical team to facilitate efficient workflow.
• Provide patient care and support during pre-operative and post-operative phases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room.
• Must have current BLS certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system required.
• NBSTSA certification required; NCCT will not be accepted.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
• Flu vaccination required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.
