Intermediate Care Unit RN - Night Shift

Schedule

Full-time, Night Shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), weekdays, every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), where you will care for a variety of medical patients, including those with respiratory issues, diabetes ketoacidosis (DKA), arrhythmias, postoperative kidney transplant patients, and interventional neurological patients. The unit is equipped with 8 IMC beds and 10 observation beds, allowing you to deliver high-quality care and support to telemetry patients with medical and surgical needs as well as the renal population.

Responsibilities

Caring for intermediate care and telemetry patients
Managing and interpreting dysrhythmias
Ventilator management and care of ventilated patients
Administering cardiac and vasoactive drips
Providing care within the scope of telemetry monitoring
Maintaining effective communication with the interdisciplinary team

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with 1 year in a specialty setting
Valid West Virginia or compact RN license required (pending license acceptable)
Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (must be American Heart Association certified)
Strong experience in IMC and/or ICU settings
