Location

This position is located in Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The schedule includes day shifts, working 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential weekend and holiday work as needed.

Job Description

The candidate will work in a dedicated invasive cardiology unit, which comprises multiple cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs, focusing on advanced cardiovascular treatments. The role requires a strong commitment to patient care and collaboration within a team environment. Minimal call is required, primarily to assist full-time staff as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
Monitor and manage patients in recovery from procedures.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Assist with complex cardiovascular procedures, including catheterizations and device placements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting.
Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
Epic experience is required.
Candidates must be comfortable caring for COVID-19 patients.
