Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown ICU Nurse with essential experience in neuro-critical care. The ideal candidate must be proficient in utilizing the Epic EMR system and is required to wear navy blue scrubs during their shift. A competency exam specific to Neuro-Progressive nursing will be a prerequisite upon offer.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

Providing comprehensive nursing care for patients in the neuro-progressive unit.
Monitoring patient conditions and maintaining accurate records.
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Management of medications and interventions as per established protocols.
Educating patients and families regarding health concerns and necessary care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must have Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.
Epic experience is required.
Current nursing licensure is necessary; willing to review clinicians with pending state licenses.
