12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Evening). Weekends, holidays, and call required based on schedule needs and staff picks. No block schedules available.

Job Description

This position requires a highly skilled PACU RN with experience in high acuity critical care. The role involves managing patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit, requiring adeptness with art lines, multiple titrating drips, and cardiac monitoring. Candidate must have large teaching hospital experience, and proficiency in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the PACU.
• Monitor and assess patient progress, utilizing critical care skills.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as per protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in PACU.
• Experience in critical care PACU settings, including high acuity treatment.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is non-negotiable.
