Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for short-term patients in a skilled nursing facility. The RN will be responsible for administering medications, wound care, foley/cath care, PEG tube feedings, ostomy care, trache care, and management of IVs, PICC lines, and mediports. The majority of patients will be receiving IV antibiotics or therapy to help them regain strength before returning home.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Provide wound care and management of various catheters and feeding tubes.
Oversee patients receiving IV therapy, including antibiotics and other medications.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including PT, OT, and SLP.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license.
BLS certification required prior to first day of duty.
Experience with IVs, PICC lines, mediports, and managing central lines is essential.
