This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Evening shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM and 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with some Saturdays required. Holiday and weekend availability is necessary.

Job Description

The PACU Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Candidates must possess critical care skills and be comfortable managing patients of all ages, including pediatrics.

Responsibilities

Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in the PACU
Monitor patient vital signs and perform cardiac monitoring
Administer medications and titrate multiple drips as necessary
Manage critical care equipment including art lines
Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum 2-5 years of critical care PACU experience
Experience in a large, teaching facility
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
EPIC experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
