Job Description

Join our multidisciplinary team focused on providing high-quality care in an Adult Forensics/Intensive Unit. You will be responsible for meeting the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care while ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. The program focuses on supporting patients with co-occurring disorders by promoting healing and long-term recovery.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to address individual and group needs.
• Provide clinical supervision to Mental Health Workers (MHWs) for safe care delivery.
• Implement treatment plans that address psychiatric issues alongside sobriety needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have recent forensic experience within the last 3 months.
• 5 years of RN experience required; inpatient psychiatric experience must be within the last 3 months.
• Certification in CPI is preferred, with an 8-hour NBO added if not current.
• Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts.
• Submit a resume detailing psychiatric nursing experience and age groups worked with.
• Driver's license or candidate's address must be included with the submission.
